Off-piste skiing

In addition to 600 kms of secure pistes, there are endless outstanding off-piste possibilities. Each valley features a number of staggering solution for those who ski from time to time through to free riders.

Brides-les-Bains off-piste

Depending on snow conditions, ski down to the village of Brides (600 m) to enjoy skiing at varying heights over some 2000 m, from the ridges to the river passing through forests and orchards on the way. It is your responsibility to assess and manage the risks presented by off-piste skiing. Beginners and brand new equipment are not suited to this type of skiing!

The village slopes

2 blue pistes ("le Raffort" and "les villages") await you in the woods on the Roc de Fer mountain side. They extend the ski slope (it's possible to ski lower down here than in Méribel) and take you near the village of Brides when returning at the end of the day.

Snowshoes, trekking

You can discover the Méribel Valley with snowshoes, walking through the silent forests, looking out for deer and grouse.

Snowpark & Funzones

Moon Wild

The Moon Wild or the animals slope.
  • A specially-equiped slope in the Altiport woods.
  • Funny games to learn about forest animals.


Moon Park

Welcome to the Moon Park, Méribel Alpina’s snowpark, shaped by HO5 and offering fun to all.
  • 10 hectares of fun with whoops, tables, rails and boxes, all made from wood.
  • You’ll find courses for beginners, intermediates and experts as well as an intermediate boardercross.

The Plattieres snow park

The original snowpark in Les 3 Vallées.
The Plattières snowpark :
  • The oldest snowpark in Les 3 Vallées is spread over 6 hectares between 2100 and 2400 m, at the heart of Mottaret’s ski area.
  • Completely redesigned, it will allow you to make progress in peaceful surroundings.
  • Renowned for its half pipes, its famous whoops, the boardercross and its many jumps.


Moon Ride

Learn freeride in a safe area : powder snow and natural obstacles The Moon Ride :
  • Off-piste zone which is avalanche-controlled and made safe where necessary.
  • Still off-piste area.
  • Area where you ride at your own risks and responsibility.

Bosses stadium

The « bumps stadium » : bumps like they used to make them !
  • 400 vertical metres of old-style bumps.
  • Red ans Black slopes.


Avalanch’Camp

Learn the risks encountered off-pist and what to do an emergency.
The Avalanch’Camp :
  • A special training area where you can learn about the risks you face going off-piste.
  • The area is located at Le Plan des Mains and regular events are hosted here by the Ski Patrollers.
